The long holiday weekend allowed me to get quite a bit of crafting done. So with all the free time, I was able to finish my quilt. I've decided to name this one the "I don't give a hoot" quilt, because it's perfect for those cold wintery days where you don't care about going out and doing anything but cozying up on the couch with an old movie, a book, some knitting and a cup of tea (or glass of wine, depending on which side of noon it is). Corduroy, flannel, and a thermal blanket interior make for a very toasty cover up! Here it is...but, first a note: I still have not perfected straight enough seams to be proud of my top stitching. I'm working at it though. =) Oh...and I decided to add the owl to the back, just for kicks.

I think the owl makes it. :)
I agree, the owl totally makes it. That is the cutest thing. Makes me think about doing some quilting with my fabric stash.
Love it! That owl is just too cute!
I love that the owl keeps popping up on your handiwork!
Love the extra on the back!
lol, love that owl!
I love this quilt. It looks so cozy. Love the owl, too cute! Have a great day.
The little owl on the back is so cute and I love the name you picked out for it. It's great when there is some good meaning behind the quilt.
