If I Ever Get a Craft Room...

I'm making one of these! Craftynest always has the best repurposing ideas. And this one, using what looks to be a crib piece, is the ultimate in organization. I love it!

Craft Room Chair Makeover

Now that I have an actual sewing table, it was due time for a chair to go with it. I had been just lugging a dining room chair in, but that gets old.

I found this chair at Goodwill for $4. It's comfortable to sit in and very sturdy, but the denim seat cover was grossing me out.

I found some pretty upholstery fabric at JoAnn's to recover it. It would've been a simple project had my staple gun not been such a jerkoff, but overall, I'm very happy with the results.

And for my the sake of my physical therapist (well, really, my aching lower back), I used the leftover fabric to make a little lumbar pillow. It's only attached with Velcro at the moment, but I'm looking for a more permanent solution.

Holy Organized Craft Room

I came across this site and was blown away by Amanda's Scrapbook room! Not only does it have supplies galore. But man, it's organized up the yin yang (and for me, that's wonderful!). Drool....

Droolworthy Craft Room

One Cool Craft Room

A good craft room is something I long for but just haven't had the room for yet. Heather Bailey, another great fabric designer has a beautiful space in which to work. Think of how wonderfully creative you could be in such a cool craft room. It's as is if your brain/imagination wouldn't even have to work. The room itself would sprinkle a magical fairy dust all over you that would just make everything you create brilliant. Ahh....to dream.
