LollyChops is hosting a Secret Card Drive for a friend of hers who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. You can get more details using the above link, but basically you just need to make (or buy) a card for Lolly's friend Crystal, so that Lolly can surprise Crystal each morning of her treatment with something pretty and positive. She has about three months worth of cards (and they're all so amazing!), but she could use about three months more. If you're interested, just let Lolly know you'd like the details by leaving her a comment with your contact info on her Secret Card Drive post.

7 Days to Go...Another Garland--MINE!
Well kids, we're down to the final week. How did that happen? Fall has been flying by a little too fast for my taste. I think time flies when you dedicate so much energry toward a puppy and painting. But despite those distractions, I buckled down and decided to make a garland of my very own instead of just talking about how much I would like one. It's nothing super fancy, but it helps to dress up the hearth.
This is in the living room, which is now not going to get painted until December. This room is basically a holding area for furniture and excess decor, so it was nice to have a little nook to make prettier. You can see the fireplace from the dining room table, which will be nice on turkey day.Wednesday, December 31, 2008
Thanks for a Great Year!
With 2008 coming to a close, I figured what better time to say "thanks" than today. Thanks for coming by my blog and playing spectator to my craftiness. I hope I've inspired a few of you along the way or at least caused a smile once in a while. Thanks again! And here's to more craftacularness in 2009!
