Break Knitting: Day 2

The next knit was another swap/exchange project. Miss Shelley is going to be doing a portrait of Dexter for me (she's done quite a few and they always turn out sweet). So in exchange for her artsy services, I knit her an Ishbel of her very own. This is the same pattern I used for my SIL's birthday gift, which you'd think would mean it would be super easy. But alas, I still managed to not read the pattern correctly. It was OK, since I was able to do an easy work-around, but it was the figuring out what I did wrong part that took forever. I blame it on the sinus infection. =)

The yarn is Shadow Lace in Basalt from my KnitPicks sampler. (I hope they do another Sampler set, because I have made such great use of all the yarn!)

Here's the back view.

And here it is in all it's pattern glory.
