A Date with David Sedaris

Last night, Shane and I had our first real date night in a long time (beyond just going out for dinner, that is). We spent our night with David Sedaris, who we both find wildly funny. He read material that he is working on for his new book, due out in October. He also read a New Yorker story he did about a Kookaburra and entries from his diary. It was amazing. The only thing that would've made it better would've been if he had read Stadium Pal but understanding that it was his old material, all was forgiven. So instead, I thought I'd include it here to keep the David Sedaris mood going.

I so wanted to go to that, but we decided we couldn't afford two big events in one month. :(

We always do the Wisconsin Film Festival in April...

How's the little boy Dex?

I'm just wandering, though, have you joined the spoonfully yours swap yet? If you haven't, would you be interested and be on my list?

I'll email you the little details, please remind me of your email address, though. :)
