The wife of someone I work with is going through chemo. A group of knitters at work (with Shelley leading the way) decided that she might like something soft and pretty during this tough time. So we're all knitting a beautiful feather and fan throw blanket. I'm not sure about the type of yarn it is, but it's lace weight and feels like alpaca. I'm starting off the knitting and am only about 7 inches into it. This is my first time working with such a small yarn, so it's taking me a little bit of time to get used to it. Overall though, I love how it is turning out.
