The Dark Arts

Yes, I have a bit of dark side. So while this may seem weird to some, it really isn't all that odd for Shane and me. We went for a bike ride the weekend before last, and stopped at this old cemetary. The headstones were so old that some were crumbling apart, and others just plain broke in half. I think most of the deceased were from the late 1800s. I was really moved by this place...creepy as that may seem to some.

This man was murdered.

This was the top half of one of the headstones, cracked off and lying on the ground.

This was the bottom half.

These were some flowers growing from one of the sandstone headstones. They were really small and waxy, but very pretty.
